These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zarlo ("Zarlo", "we", "us", or "our"), a platform that lets merchants in Pakistan create online shops and sell products. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of Pakistan. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
2. Subscriptions, trial & payments
- New shops start on a 15-day free trial; no payment is required to begin.
- After the trial, continued use requires an active paid plan billed monthly or annually as you choose.
- Prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (Rs) and may be revised with notice. Applicable taxes may apply.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; your shop remains active until the end of the paid period.
- If a payment is not completed, we may suspend or restrict your shop after a grace period.
3. Orders, Cash on Delivery & deliveries
Zarlo provides the tools to list products and receive orders, including Cash on Delivery (COD). The sales contract for any product is strictly between the merchant (shop owner) and the customer. Zarlo is not the seller, is not a party to that contract, and is not responsible for the quality, legality, delivery, or payment of any product. Merchants are responsible for fulfilling orders, honouring returns, and resolving customer disputes.
4. Prohibited content & products
Zarlo operates in Pakistan and respects Islamic values and the laws of the country. We also respect every other religion and faith community, and we expect every shop on Zarlo to do the same. You may not use the Service to list, promote, sell, or distribute any content, product, or material — physical or digital — that is against Islamic values, that disrespects any other religion, or that is unlawful in Pakistan. This includes, without limitation:
- Alcohol, intoxicants, narcotics, and other haram consumables.
- Pork and any non-halal meat or products derived from prohibited sources.
- Pornographic, obscene, indecent, or sexually explicit material.
- Content, products, or items — including clothing, prints, idols, statues, jewellery, stickers, books, or digital media — that are blasphemous or disrespectful toward Islam, the Holy Prophet ﷺ, the Qur'an, the Sahaba, or the prophets, scriptures, founders, sacred figures, symbols, or beliefs of any other religion (including but not limited to Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, Buddhism, and others). Mockery, desecration, and misuse of religious imagery — for any faith — are not allowed.
- Gambling, betting, interest-based (riba) financial schemes, and similar prohibited services.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and other restricted or dangerous goods.
- Counterfeit, smuggled, stolen, or pirated goods, and items that infringe others' intellectual-property rights.
- Content that promotes hatred, violence, extremism, terrorism, or sectarianism — or that incites discrimination against any religious, ethnic, or sectarian community.
- Any other product, service, or content prohibited under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA).
We may remove any listing, suspend, or permanently terminate any shop that violates this section, without notice and without refund, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
5. Merchant responsibilities
- Sell only goods you are legally entitled to sell, with honest descriptions, photos, and prices.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer-protection, tax, and trade regulations of Pakistan.
- Handle customer data lawfully and use it only to fulfil orders.
- Obtain any licences or registrations required for your particular products.
6. Intellectual property
The Zarlo platform, brand, and software remain our property. You retain ownership of the content you upload, but you grant us a licence to host, display, and process it as needed to provide the Service. You must own or have the rights to all content you upload.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service unlawfully. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your shop and listings may be removed, subject to any legal retention requirements.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zarlo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for disputes, damages, or losses arising between merchants and their customers. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Zarlo harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your products, your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
11. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the revised version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. For any questions, contact us at support@zarlo.pk.
