1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, mobile number, email address, CNIC (where required for verification), and password.
• Shop information — your shop name, logo, product listings, prices, photos, and descriptions you upload.
• Order & customer information — names, delivery addresses, phone numbers, and order details of customers who buy from shops hosted on Zarlo.
• Payment information — bank or mobile-wallet account details you provide to receive payouts, and records of subscription payments you make to us. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data — device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, and actions taken, collected to keep the Service secure and reliable.

2. How we use your information

• To create and operate your shop and process orders.
• To send order notifications, including via WhatsApp and SMS.
• To process Cash on Delivery (COD) orders and coordinate deliveries with courier partners.
• To bill subscriptions, verify payments, and provide customer support.
• To improve the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing with third parties

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Courier and logistics partners — to deliver orders and collect COD payments.
• Messaging providers — to send WhatsApp and SMS notifications.
• Payment and banking partners — to verify payments and process payouts.
• Technology providers — for hosting, storage, and image processing required to run your shop. Content you upload may be passed to these providers solely to perform the requested operation.
• Authorities — where required by Pakistani law or a valid legal order.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account, after which we will remove or anonymise your data except where retention is required by law.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or update your information from your dashboard, or request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us. As a shop owner, you are responsible for handling your own customers' data lawfully and only for fulfilling their orders.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language preference (English or اردو), and keep the Service secure. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

8. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised policy.

10. Governing law & contact
